Ever since he was a teenager, Danilo "Dan" Suzart (born April 12, 1991) has always been a hard-worker.
Danilo picked up boxing in high school. He was 17 at the time. Danilo entered state boxing tournament in the same year, ended up doing better than expected. In four major school competitions, Danilo won 3 golds and 1 bronze.
At the same time, Danilo always had physically demanding jobs such as recycle collector and auto parts washer.
Yet he never left the combat sports.
Danilo began training BJJ at age 23, followed by MMA when he was 25 years old.
Danilo made his pro MMA debut at age 27, knocked out Robson Barbosa in the first round.
In next three years, while he worked as an electronic repair man, Danilo stacked up eight more wins in nine fights, and got a call from Ares Fighting Championship in France.
Danilo faced their heavyweight champion Benjamin Sehic in the promotional debut and won via majority decision.
Danilo is a team mate of UFC heavyweights like Carlos Felipe Boi and Jailton "Malhadinho" Almeida.
