Jailton "Malhadinho" Almeida (born June 26, 1991) doesn't even remember how old he started training but he always trained "because of my father."

Jailton eventually got into MMA due to his training partners "going at it like Yuri Moura and Rodrigo Taigra."

His first pro fight was took place about three months after Jailton turned 21. He stormed through competition. Winning four fights in row before facing a 17-fight veteran in his fifth pro fight. In this fight, Jailton got caught with a punch in just 16 seconds.

Yet Jailton bounced back fast and won next nine out of ten fights, including Thunder Fight Championship light-heavyweight title.

In Contender Series 2021, Jailton defeated Nasrudin Nasrudinov and earned UFC contract.

At age 30, Jailton made UFC debut on February 5, 2022, and beat Danilo Marques with ground and pound.
