He is a full-time welder during the day and a professional MMA fighter during the night.

Kazumasa Majima (14-3-0), began training in judo at age 3. In high school judo, he was fairly successful, compted in the various national champoinships.

So, all Kazumasa did back then, was taking classes with regular members of the gym.

Akihiro Mouri, the founder of dojo, saw that Kazumasa was just far better than anyone else, suggested him to try pro fights.

A year later, in 2013, Kazumasa made his pro MMA debut in Shooto. He won Shooto's rookie tournament in 2015, and after three more wins, for the first time in his career, Kazumasa fought outside of Japan when he submitted Luke Jones in Kunlun Fight.

Kazumasa got a call from Rebel FC in 2018 to fight Rodolfo Marques for the featherweight title. He took the offer, submitted a Brazilian with a rear naked choke, captured his first title in MMA.

Following year, Kazumasa went back to Japan, sumibtted an UFC veteran Issei Tamura with head triangle choke in Pancrase.

In 2020, Kazumasa signed with the RIZIN Fighting Federation.
