
YUTA "ULKA" SASAKI

During the elementary school days, Yuta "Ulka" Sasaki (born October 7, 1989) wanted to be a pro-wreslter but this changed quickly because he watched Takanori Gomi fighting in the PRIDE Fighting Chamioship.
"Ulka" knew he wanted to be a pro MMA fighter.
That is the reason why he joined wrestling team in high school. At the seunior year, "Ulka" placed top 16 at the All Japan High School Championships.
After graduating from high school, "Ulka" joined Wajiutsu Keishukai Suruga Dojo and made his pro MMA debut in 2010.
In the same year, "Ulka" won Shooto's rookie tournament.
At his eleventh pro fights, he won the Shooto Pacific Rim featherweight title by defeating Toru Suzuki.
In 2014 "Ulka" signed with the UFC and won Submission of the Night in the Octagon debut against Roland Delorme.
After nine fights in the UFC, "Ulka" signed with the RIZIN Fighting Federaton in 2018, defeated Manel Kape in the promotional debut.
Ulka is also a founder and the creative director of a popular fashion brand LAZY GOD.
