
YUKARI "HUNGRY MONSTER" NABE

Yukari "Hungry Monster" Nabe (born November 19, 1987) is a judo-ka turned a professional mixed martial fighter born and raised in Toyama prefecture of Japan.
When she was in high school, Yukari won Toyoma Prefecture Championship and placed top 8 in All Japan High School Judo Championship.
Yukari continued her judo career at International Budo University department of martial arts, and in the second year, she transferred to Yong-In University in North Korea, trained another three years of judo at their department of martial arts.
After graduating from the university, Yukari began training MMA, and won All Japan Amateur Shooto Championship in 2016.
In 2015, Yukari first made her pro debut in the grappling bout, followed by MMA debut in 2016 against Nao Murayama and won via unanimous decision.
Yukari fought outside of Japan for the first time in 2017, faced Judith Ruls, won, again, via unanimous decision.
In 2018, Yukari fought Kana Watanabe (now with Bellator MMA) in DEEP JEWELS 19 to a draw. The rematch took place three months later but Yukari came up short in a majority decision.
After this loss Yukari quickly came back to the winning track by beating Yuko Oya.
Yukari is now on a 7-fight win streak.
